    Cinema Craft/DivX problem

I have a question concerning Cinema Craft Encoder. I'm trying to encode an avi, and it gives me this error "Could not find appropriate video codec for 'div3'." I think this might mean that I need DivX3 and I only have DivX5... but is it possible to have multiple versions installed at once? Someone please respond! I need help!

You can have divx 3.11 installed with v4.12.
You can have 3.11 installed with any version of 5.xx
You CAN'T have v4.12 with 5.xx unless you patch your registry.

So in answer to your specific question. Its no prob to install v3.11 with your version 5.xx you have already. Both will work fine.

Uninstall all codecs, first install divx 3.11 alpha, then install divx 4.xx (reject its offering to play divx 3.11 encoded content). I believe, KHP said that all three codecs may co-exist, if you only install the divx player for divx 5.02, and not the codec itself.
