every time when i am running dvd2avi windows will freeze up and it needs reboot, its windows xp. also when i am using tmpgenc is when itstartedfreezing,usually dvd2avi worked fine,i got and installed tmpenc and that didnt workfrom theget go froze me every time. anyone know why these programs are freezingin winxp?

Did it...no way! I tried to change vfapi settings and tmpgenc settings according to some guides, but all ineffective.
Windows media player plays all the movie perfectly, but if i try to convert any divx/xvid into vcd...tmpgenc freezes my pc and all i can do is turn it off. Any other idea?
