    chapters in VCD??

    So,
    I have successfully burned a few VCD's and they play alright also on the standalone player.
    BUT,

    1.
    if I have several movies on one VCD I can't simply go to the next movie by selecting "next track". Once I have at least played all the movies for a few seconds, then it works. Why is that?? and is there a way to go from movie to movie without having it played before??
    2.
    On the standalone I can't fast forward/rewind the VCD. Why is that??
    3.
    Can I introduce chapters or keyframes in a VCD??

    The standalone is a Cyberhome. The burning software I don't remember right now (stupid me...), but it's not Nero.

    Thanks,
    acm

    Hi

    I read somewhere that the fast forward/rewind thing is due to a file that has to be added into one of the directories created on the VCD, this problem is usually with SVCD.
    I use Nero and do not have this problem.

    As for chapters - get a prog called VCDEasy, it can do that.

      "if I have several movies on one VCD I can't simply go to the next movie by selecting 'next track'''

      If your standalone has a remote which includes a numeric keypad, try pressing a number (sometimes the videos are on every other track) and then pressing "Play".

      Let us know of your success ;>}
