encoding "the stand" to mpg

i am having a real hard time encoding the movie "the stand" to mpg format. im using "flask" with the current "bbmpeg", but it seems i cannot get the whole movie. i bought the movie on dvd but cant seem to get it all into 1 mpg per side (there are 2 sides to the dvd). if anyone can enlighten me as to how to go about this task i'd appreciate you replying to dbenn38789@aol.com and to david.bennett@lyondell-citgo.com as well. i have encode a lot of movies with no problem, but this one has me stumped. somebody pleeeeeeeeeeeese help me

You haven't indicated what results you ARE getting - a corrupt file? a forshortened file? a -0- bytes file? an error message? (Does Stephen King appear on the screen and cynically laugh at you?) ;>}
