SVCD playback

Hi i Just burned a SVCD and there is no problem playing it in a standalone DVD player, but i would like to play it on my computers DVDplayer.
I have a Pioneer 106 DVD player. Does it require a codec to play a SVCD ?. I have tryed different players like MicroDVD, GDivX, RadLight, Sasami2k, zplay, PowerDVD and WinDVD and no one works.

WinDVD 3.0 is certainly capable of playing SVCDs.
