Problems while watching VCD's on the external DVD Player

I have a problem while watching VCD movies on my DVD Player .. Every movie gets bad at about the middle of the movie. The beginning is always good, but till the 3rd quarter ist getting worser and worser.what can I do? Does it depend on my external DVD Player or does it depend on how I burn this movie or how I rip it? When I watch this movie on the pc it works fine. Hope anybody knows whats wrong. Thanks

"The beginning is always good, but till the 3rd quarter ist getting worser and worser."

Be good enough to state specifically what gets worse...

Try immediately fast forwarding to the "3rd quarter" when you start to play the VCD on your standalone DVD player. If it plays properly this way, chances are your player is overheating when you play it from the beginning...
