    VCD in DVD ?

Hi, i am an owner of a JVC XV-511 DVD player wich says CD-VIDEO
    on the front.
Well i created an vcd with Ulead Videostudio 6 but the DVD player keeps on saying there is no cd inserted each time i put it in...

    What is my problem ?

    Thank you for helping me..

Many standalone players are very finicky about which brands of CD-R, if any, they'll recognize. the fact that they play COMMERCIAL VCDs does not ensure that they'll play your burned VCDs.

For information specific to the capabilities of your make/model of standalone DVD player go to:

Video forums, video software downloads, guides, blu-ray players and media.

I think so it's your standalone dvd player wich is not able to play vcd burned.

You can find the list of players VCD compatible at http://membres.lycos.fr/divxmethode/index.htm (link : lecteurs DVD).
