I've burned an SVCD (DOG SOLDIERS) but it doesn't play fluently

I have a cheap DVD-Player (Limit DVHT2080) but he should be capable of playing vcd's and SVCD's.

What is wrong?
Can someone help me please?

Could be a couple of things, does the file play smoothly from the hard drive?

The max bitrate could be to high for your player. What speed did you burn the file at? Try 4x and see what happens. Try demuxing the file and burn only the video and see if it plays smoothly. It could be a audio problem. Try these things with a cdrw to avoid wasting cdrs.
