    im kinda new and im wondering why my vcd copies appear tall and thin, like a widescreen problem. can i correct this after i make the copy or do i need to do it at encoding. im not sure where to do it at encoding.

    What software nad what settings are you using to create the VCD?

    Are you converting from an AVI file or directly from DVD?

    If from an AVI file, were the top and bottom "black bars" cropped off a 16x9 video?

        IN TMPGEnc, under the "Advanced" tab set "16:9 525 lines (NTSC)" (or PAL, if appropriate), then for "Video arrange method", "Center (Keep aspect ratio)". Under the "Video" tab set "16:9 525 lines (NTSC)" (or PAL, if appropriate)...

              My pleasure ;>}

              Click on the "system" or "settings' radio button on the lower right. Doubleclick on "Unlock.mcf"...
