    Editing VCD

Recently I bought a Terepin VCD recorder and recorded a few videos with it. My whole reason for buying this thing was to record old VHS tapes, Edit them, then put the edited version back on to VHS tape for use in a classroom. I have trouble even playing them back and I have yet to find any software that will edit VCD format. I need help.

VirtualDub will not edit Mpeg-1 files.
It will open them but will not actually edit them.
TMPGEnc will, to a certain extent.
