Playback of svcd

Hi, i've downloaded a couple of files from the net and have a problem playing theme.
When i load theme in windows media player 9, i receive the searching for codec message and then codec not found, however the file starts to play without any problem exept that the position bar stays fix;
the problem is that if i want to move forward i get an error message and have to restart the movie, in no way i can move forward or back with these two files as i ordinally do with any other file.
I redownloaded the files just in case something when wrong during that phase but i still have this problem.

Tsuanmi 3.9.9 Codec/Filter Pack

And Try BSPlayer for playback of your videos

I installed both but problem remains, the only change is that with the bs player if i try to go forward it just doesn't without giving any error and having to restart it.
