No video output when playing SVCD on WinDVD

    Hi all.

Just wondering if anyone can help me with this problem?

I am using the trial version (3.2 I believe) of WinDVD and when playing SVCD there is no video display - audio works fine and other video formats (mpg. avi etc) work with no problem. I have DirectX installed.

Anyone have an idea about what i could do to correct this?

    Thanks!!

Have you successfully played this SVCD using some other software, or on a standalone DVD player hooked up to a television (the intended purpose of SVCDs)?

I was originally playing my SVCDs on my standalone DVD player but it seems to be unhappy with the formate now, after months of succesful playing.

It pixellates crazily and then just spits it out (metaphorically of course )

I am sure the discs are error free as I have since watched them on other DVD players since...
