    vcd's and pixelation

i have several vcd's and they all experience pixelation at some point during their playback. Is there any way to fix this?

it depends on where the pixelisation is origined!

if it is just a decoding problem a better mpeg decoder will help
you!! look for a better mpeg1 decoder!!this I am stating because I think, that you are dealing with mpeg files that are not of your origin, but have been created by someone other.

it may be that I am wrong

if it is immanent in your file and the information given by the file is
100% correctly diisplayed, a temporal smoothing filter will help you!.

using avisynth and the CCE gives you a lot of abilities to correct
    mpeg files....

      You are correct.

Avisynth ? - I'll try it and post the results.

      Thanks for the advice, Jonathan
