    Help with unknown logo >.<

Well, for some reason the other day i went about reinstalling some old video codecs and a couple of video filters. After which i restarted the comp, now whenever i play m2v or mpeg2 files, this squarish logo (made up of nine dots) appears on the top right handcorner of the screen.

Not only does this new logo irritate me to no end, it also somehow causes me to be unable to view the playback time on mpeg2/m2v files, i also can't skip to another playback time now >.< . I'm sure this problem would be easy for many ppl here, so can someone pls tell me which codec was it that cause all the trouble, so i can like get rid of it. Thanks in advance

    welcome lovepeacexxx!
a not disappearing logo in mpeg2 files normally indicates
that you are using a codec that forces the logo, maybe because its trial period has expired.......
get rid of it and use a mpeg2 decoder which is available in the
tsunami filter and codec pack 3.9.9 on this site

make sure that you only install the codecs you need ... not all of it!!!

Download the Tsunami Codec & Filter Pack, a collection of all the frequently used codecs and filters

Use codec sniper to kill the blasted thing...
Open the movie in wmp 6.4 and go to properties. Check which codec is active and use codec sniper to get rid of that d@mn thing for good... Sounds like a Divx logo to me... what does it look like? The logo thing I mean.
