Hi everybody. Here's my problem:
Using DVDx, I ripped (from a DVD), encoded and burned a VCD movie that plays perfectly in all VCD players I've tried.
Now with my second movie I've tried to rip, encode and burn, there's a problem: the audio skips in some players I use. On my computer, a Toshiba DVD\VCD player and CAVS DVD\VCD player, the audio is fine. But on a Samsung DVD\VCD player and a JVC VCD-only player, the audio skips.
The only difference (besides the movie) from the perfect VCD I made and the VCD with audio skipping is that the first VCD uses "None" under "Zoom" settings (in "Output Settings") while the second CD uses "Medium 4/3".
Does anyone know of a way I can burn a VCD with "Zoom: Medium 4/3" that doesn't have sound that skips? I don't mind degrading the video or audio. Here's some more info if it will help:
PC Power =
Intel Celeron 2.0 GHz, 240MB RAM
DVDx Input Settings =
iDCT : MMX (fastest)
A/V sync : off (won't work if set to "on")
Det. prog. 24Hz : on
Force 24Hz : on
DVDx Output Settings =
Motion search : Normal (fast)
Calculation : P4
DCT/iDCT: PF (fastest)
Mux rate : 3%
Resize: bilinear MMX
CDRWin 5 Settings =
Burn speed : 4x
I'll provide any other info if you like. Any help or info would be very much appreciated! Thanks guys.
