how to playback .dat file from ISO

I extracted an ISO for a movie, but before I burn it I want to check that its real. so i used Magic ISO to extract it, and now i haev a few folders extracted, one of which contains the huge .dat file, but windows media player wont play it. how can i view this file?

try AVI Preview not sure if it will work but it extracts and plays .dat

Just rename the file to xxxxx.MPG and it will play just fine.
