CD Colour To Play On VCD Player

    Hi!

Just wanted to know if the colour of a CD effected if an encoded VCD will play on a VCD or DVD player. Just wanted to know because I just encoded my own VCD that works on the computer fine but wont on my VCD player, it's on an 80 minute Princo (blue colour) CD-R. Is there a particular brand or colour I should use?

    Thx IPanther...

The best way for you to know will be to go to http://www.dvdrhelp.com/dvdplayers

They have a nice list of (almost) all players out there and all media they support. Just look-up your VCD player to make sure it plays CD-R.

Basically, I would say, try to burn a CD-Audio. If it works, it means your VCD player doesn't have any problems with your brand of CD-R.

Keep also in mind that most old DVD players cannot play CD-R, but will play CD-RW fine.
