You'll probably get a more meaningful response at a Mac-specific forum, such as the one at 3ivx.com...

      Hi Gladiator.
      You're not the only one.

I have some SVCDs and would like to play them on a Mac.

I've had a look at 3ivx.com and others, but only mpeg2 decoders to quicktime seem to be available. Surely, there must be some software that allows you to playback a simple mpeg2 stream without wanting to re-encode it to Quicktime or some other format.

I could always transfer my SVCDs over to MiniDVDs and then use the Apple DVD player, but that's an awfully complicated and time consuming way of doing things when all I wanna do is view the original mpeg2 file!

Thanks for the comment Setarip, but it seems that there are no pure mpeg2 players out there for Mac.

      Any suggestions anyone?

      Thanks,
