What am I doing wrong with Nero 6?

    Hi.

I burned my first VCD yesterday and it WILL play in my DVD player...but only sort of.

The menu isn't cooperating. I'd assumed it would be interactive like a regular DVD menu, but none of my arrow controls highlight any of the menu selections. As long as the menu is up, none of the controls work except for "program".

Going into the program screen, I can set the three tracks on the disc to play, and play it will, but only then.

If I try to use the neat menu I designed...NOTHING.

The Nero setup had even asked me if I wanted to start with the menu or go right into the first chapter/track. I said "menu".

    Now I wish I hadn't.

Was this a wrong assumption on my part? Are Nero VCD menus NOT interactive, and there only to provide info on using your DVD machine's programming setup?

if u burnt the .cue image as its probably from abroad or not made in this country it wont play exactally as you'd want it too! isnt always the case but is in my experience! try downloading .avi formats then convert them to svcd and burn that! it should work okay then.. if not try the dvdr forums they help out a lot! patches and codes for multiplay and svcd/vcd player are also a good idea (get them from dvdplayer review sites!)

happens to me sometimes too, not really too sure what happens lol, just seems not to burn like almost simulated but actually should of bin burnt, then when re-inserted the disk becomes (cd-rw) re-usuable - the disk was deffinately finalised too, all options check.. praps i might just get a Kiss dvd player lol! play divx and store 80gig on it too!

u know any good cheap dvd divx players out there mate?
