Okay First of all i will explain the file that i have:
It is a Bootleg VCD which i have downloaded (and legal before you give me anything about that- Its just a audience camera recording of a dream theater show)
File stats:
Size: 787 MB (826,224,716 bytes)
Length: 01:11:31
Picture Size: 352 x 240
Bit rate: 1150000 bits/sec
Frame rate: 29.97 frames/sec
Standard MPG1 audio
Thats about all the info i could get out of it, doesnt load in virtualdub, gives error 'cant determine type of file.
Ive had experience with a lot of video, this is a new error if encoutnered.
It appears all the video data is there, but its all mixed up, like it seems to play 10seconds from the middle, then jumps to the end for 20seconds, then back to somewhere else, the whole file is like this.
Are there any video fixers you think that will fix this? It seems that the frame index is a little jumbled or something..
thanks (if anyone here listens to dreamtheater you will appreciate how hard it is to get a decent recording of a show!)
