I have some video files on my hard drive that I have been trying to play without any success.
Originally in .bin files I extracted them using WinISO.
The video file is contained in an "MPEG2" folder, and called AVSEQ01.MPG.
There are 3 other folders in the directory:
EXT, SEGMENT and SVCD.
Trying to play on WMP9 fails straight away, no doubt because you can't play MPG2 files on it.
But when I try and use Power DVD or WinDVD I just get a green, jittery screen, with jumpy screeching audio.
It does however not provide any errors.
I have a feeling that somehow all these players are using the wrong codec.
Does anyone have any idea on how I can get these files playing right, they play fine on a firends computer using PowerDVD.
Thanks for your help
