Playing back VCD on Standalone players

    Heres the problem.

I have used EZ DVD 2 VCD to "Backup" one of my DVD films.

The backup worked VERY well and the film plays on my PC and the DVD Player in the bedroom. Strangely though it doesnt play on the DVD player I have downstairs?

It is strange coz I have done a trial disc before and it worked well.

I know this is very vague but is there anyone there that might know why this is?

    Thanks in advance

It's not really strange at all. Standalone players (if they'll accept burned VCDs at all) are many times very finicky about which brands of CD-Rs they'll recognize. Most will, however, rcognize many brands of R/W Cds.

For detailed information regarding your specific standalone player's capabilities go to: http://www.vcdhelp.com/
