    how to playback svcd

    Situation: Have downloaded a file that is in SVCD format, i want to know if i can play it in windows, all attempts to play have failed

    do i need a codec of something. ive tried in powerdvd and windvd nothing wont load and if it does no image and if it does the sounds all waked

    Solution: ???????

    Not a good answer, but ....

    I have also downloaded SVCD files (spiderman 3x SVCD) the first one gave no problem, I could view it with mediaplayer, with the second and third file I have the same problem
    I think it;s the file but if others read this maybe the have a solution for your and my 2e and 3e file

    Even stranger it is, when I burn the 2nd and/or 3rd file to a CD-rom with nero as SVCD on my stand alone DVD palyer (competable with SVCD) I can see the movie

    If there is a program to fix the files, I'll be glad to receive a file/url or whatever is welcome to get the stuff working

          Use a software dvd player, such as WinDVD or PowerDVD.
