    Pioneer Playback and search

I have a standalone DVD player Pioneer DV-444

For (S)VCD, I read in the instruction manual that I can search on track after a first push on the search key or on time after the second push.
The only available search key is track.
Have I to enter a particular instruction for SVDC encoding?

For info, the time is displayed on the dvd player

    Hallo Andre,
I own a Home DVD Pioneer 535, the predecessor of the one you own (444). I meet the same problem, producing by myself SVCD with multiple tracks (or chapters).
I use TMPGenc or bbMPEG to finally encode the AVI files, but the result is the same. I can skip from one trach to the next, but the only function I can use is, inside a track, is to search keeping the remote key to >>.
I read somewere that this is a common problem, also on VCD, so, if you find a solution, let me know.
