TMPG Encoder Widescreen Problem

When I encode a video CD I want to play it on a standalone DVD player.

I want the widescreen video to be anamorphically stretch, so could anyone tell me the settings to do this, as my DVD is set up for 16:9 and just won't stretch the video, please help!!!!

vcdhelp.com may have some help. What do you mean it doesn't strech? (can you elaborate).
