    can someone help me so i can play back vcds on ps2

      as far as i know you can't play (s)vcd on your ps2 jet.

          The PS2 only plays DVD-ROM, DVD-movies, CD-ROM and (not sure) audio cd's.

          hint: read the specification in the manual of the PS2
