I used GNOT and the guide at DOOM9 ( DivX5 )
and ripped 2 DVD's so far and the resolution for both isn't great at all.
I used a small program called "Avi File Info"
and compared my ripped avi movie to a good
movie I downloaded to compare settings.
I noticed the resolution of my ripped movie is at
352 x 192 and the movie I downloaded which looks great is at 640 x 272.
I'm currently trying to rip one of the DVD's I did earlier and tried to set a resolution of 640 x 272
but the numbers would not match when moving the slider bar in the resolution tab in GNOT. If I would set the resolution close to 640 x 272, the
bits ( Pixel * Frame ) would be low at around 0.139 which is supposed to suck ( supposed to be above 0.17 for good quality ).
I really need some advice on how to get a resolution of 640 x 272 setup properly.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Steph
