DVD to DivX - losing part of the movie

i was wondering if anyone can assist regarding using DVD Decrypter 3.1.2.0 and DVDx 2.0.

i'm able to rip and convert to DivX but can't seem to get an entire movie. for some reason, the end results always seems to fall short about 30 min before the end for all movies i've tried. any ideas about what may cause this? i'm not sure if DVD Decrypter is not decoding all of the movie or if DVDx is not encoding all the movie. how do i figure out this problem? what should i check for in my configuration?

    thanks in advance.

    regards

    yo yo yo.
when you rip the movie does dvd decrypter say it have multi angeles ? if so, it can be that the dvd is decrypted with a part of the movie is at one angel and the other part is at the other angel.
i had it in indepandence day (pal zone 2).
try to see if this is the problem

I have the same PROB!! It's been driving me friggin nuts. After the fist chunk is done, you can usually click it and it will do the rest in a seperate file, and i assume you could join that then. Today i switched to MPG2AVI and that worked awesome for the Video (2 pass DIVX is awesome!), but i screwed it up and i didn't get the sound. I wish DVDx would work cause it's good otherwise. I'll bump this..
