key frame

I use DVDx for divx encoding. But no matter how long video I encode the number of key frames is always 2. I use divx 5.0.2 codec. I was changing in General Parameters, max Keyframe interval from 3 to 300 but still any change. Where can I change it?
Why I ask that? When I fast forward the video, the picture stands still, but the sound goes forward and I think the problem is number of key frames.

I suspect you are using '2-pass second pass', is this correct ?.

To use 2-pass encoding you must first use '2-pass first pass' then '2-pass second pass'.
