    Partial Subtitles in Traffic?

    Hi There

I'm trying to rip traffic, of which a big part is in spanish. There are subs on the DVD that only display english subs when there's spanish spoken and some that always display them.
Strangely, when I select the same sub I use in the DVD Player where anything works (only subs in spanish parts) in Xmpeg 4.2a, there are ALWAYS subs, not just where I want them and how the player does it correctly... Is this some special kind of sub, xmpeg doesn't recognize?..

    help?

    Thanks a lot

If I recall correctly the partial english subs in Traffic are burned into the video stream (I also get them when I select danish subs I think).
Donate your idle CPU time for something usefull.

No, at least not in my version.
When I select no subs at all I also get none.
It's a code 2 DVD with english and german audio/subs...
There are two english, one when played in a DVD Player that is always there and one only in spanish scenes and there are 3 german subs, which do not interest me.

Have the same problem. I tried several sub-rippers but I always got the full english sub.
