Having the same problem and going NUTS!!! lol

The precision bit =0 and a unknown tag 2000.

Nandub and Virtualdub do not seem to see the right codec and it's not in the list.

Are you working with NT4 aswell???

I hope someone finds the cure!!

      Solved my own problem!!!!

Virtualdub ac3 is a modified version.

Go and get VirtualDub_AC3.zip load movie and save wav/ac3 sound to disk. Both video and audio in Direct Stream Copy modus.

Get a tool named ac3dec.exe with it's GUI ac3decgui.exe and covert the wav/ac3 you made with virtualdub AC3.exe to a real wave.

When finished, load the wav back into Virtualdub in the audio pulldown menu and save the movie in Direct Stream Copy (video and audio) to disk.

Load saved movie into TMPGEnc and it can be converted into SVCD (with sound)>

You can also load the wav into TMPGEnc but I don't know if it will go out of sync.

A pain in the ass but atleast it works.
