I am facing a rather strange DVDx encoding problem.
After setting everything and start encoding, the program dissapears off the desktop, having completed only about 33% of the movie ( output filesize appr. 330Mb).
No messages appear, it just vanishes out of sight leaving me with an unusable half- finished .avi file.
I tried the same drill three times and it quit on me at approximately the same point of the movie.
I have been using DVDx since v1.6 in win98 with no problems at all. This is the first time I try to encode in my newly installed winXP and DVDx 2.0.
Is there an OS - related DVDx problem? I also tried encoding with an earlier version ( 1.8a) and the exact same problem appeared.
Any help will be greatly appreciated
