Hey all ...
Ok my favorite method is to frameserve via DVD2AVI ... anywas most peeps will tell you to select "Force FILM" if FILM is more than 95% or so, right? So I have this japanimation DVD that has an average FILM of 97%, NTSC 3%, 29.97 fps. Selecting Force FILM will force it to be 23.97 fps (naturally). Now problem is, with Force FILM turned on, the picture "seems" to be more jerky than normal. "Seems" because I'm not 100% sure since I can't play 2 simultaneous videos with FILM turned on/off, but I'm pretty certain about it. Now, if I turn off force FILM even with the high FILM content, how will it affect the final movie, apart from the fact that it'll be higher filesize/lower quality because of 30fpts instead of 24? Also, is 95% the "best" treshold for selecting force FILM?
