Trying to play movie but all blank - Newbie

Hi, I am a newbie to this and am trying to play an .avi move which I downloaded. Here is the information from VirtualDub:

Frame size, fps: 352x288, 25.000 fps (40000 us)
    # of frames (time): 93708 (1:02:28)
    Decompressor: DivX Pro 5.0.2 Codec
    Number of key frames: 313
    Min/avg/max/total key frame size: 1132/1132/1133 (347K)
    Min/avg/total delta frame size: 58/58/58 (5290K)

I have installed the Codec from http://www.DivX.com however the movie still seems to be just a black screen. The time etc. shows but just no picture.

    Thanks for any help

Try installing some codecs if you dont already have, try the NimoCodec Pack. But before that, have you tried playing the avi movie in a different media player? Try "Tha Playa"
Did you know you can SEARCH the forum? Fixes common problems too:

Check the file information of the file using Virtualdub.
