virtual dub - hardisk space probleeeeem with 2 pass xVid

I dont know if I am posting this message in the correct forum...

I dont know it it is possible to this:

I have a 10 GB sized video and it is taking up almost all my Hardisk...
I want to do some cropping, resize, filtering... SAVE IT (over the same file). And then compress it with 2 pass xVid.

If I dont do it that way I have to do the filtering 2 times, one for xVid pass...

You can't overwrite the source file while compressing it. Try getting yourself a spare HD for extra space so you can work on the file.
