iam trying to convert a xvid movie that has two cd's that the bit rate is about 1200kbps, and i want to lower it to about 700kbps to make it one cd like u see with alot of movies. that is about 700mb, well i use virtual dub, and evertime i try to convert down to a lower bitrate the video is all grainy, well i thought it was the low bitrate that did it. but i then tried a higher bitrate same thing, is it b/c of virtual dub (VD) and also it will only convert so much i think like 90mb then VD freezes and does not convert anymore. any suggestions on a better conversion tool. or how to fix the grainyness and the converting 90mb problem. thanx
