    2 DivX cd's to 1?

    I have some movies that are splitted onto 2 cd's, and I want to re-encode them, but with less bitrate, so that it fits on a single cd. How? What programs (except flaskmpeg) do I need to do this? I need a program that is opposite of flaskmpeg, that returns DivX back to MPEG, so that I can flask it more Please help. Thanx

    That seems like a rather cumbersome approach, if all you whish to do is to make a smaller AVI file.

    Use virtualdub for AVI->AVI conversions.
    Donate your idle CPU time for something usefull.

      To elaborate further khp's point:
      1. Open first AVI file in Virtual/nandub
      2. Append second AVI file in Virtual/nandub
      3. Set Video tab to Full Processing Mode
      4. Set Audio tab to Direct Stream Copy
      5. Under Video, select Compression and choose the DivX codec. Input the new bitrate that you have determined using a bitrate calculator. Choose 2-pass encoding mode in order to minimise loss of quality
      6. Go to File -> Save as AVI and give a name to the new file
