Mpeg 2 Xvid and Audio\Video synq probe

When coverting MPEG 1 (VCD) stream to xvid with VirtualDub the sound is out of synq, why ?

Also I choose to convert the MP2 sound inside the Mpeg to MP3 so I seted the Audio tab to Full Processing Mode and choose MP3.
