I just dawnload a movie (from kaza lite) the file name is The pianist and DVDRip.screener.xvid-qix.ave,I dawnloaded the codec XVID but I don't have sound please help.I do not know what I need to do. I am new with computer..please help.

You will most likely require the AC3 codec, download it (available in the TSUNAMI CODEC PACK as well).

I am having the same problem with the same movie. First, I had to download the new xVid codec to fix the problem with the green spots. But once i installed the xVID codec, there's no sound. I have WinMedia 9. And on the bottom status bar, it says that it has an error downloading the codec. So I do i fix that? Now it plays the video well, but there is no sound with it. Please help.

The error downloading the codec message can be resolved.. Open up the file in GSPOT then download the codec like that. Then it will not search for it

Input the AVI file into GSpot and post a screen capture of it.

Alternatively, you can use Virtualdub to check the fil information:
1. Open the file in Virtualdub
2. Go to File -> File Information
3. Post what information you see here

Install the MS MPEG4 and the AC3 codecs. Both are available from a codec pack, such as Tsunami.
