Hello -
I downloaded a 6-part tv series. First 5 parts I was able
to convert to svcd pretty well. But part 6 is giving me a problem.
If I play the avi in mediaplayer it plays ok. I'm saving the WAV,
adjusting it (time stretch) by 104.27%, and reducing the frame
rate to 23.976 from 25fps. This procedure worked well on the
other episodes. (This how I'm doing PAL>NTSC)
In this episode, the sound is unsychronized.
It's not just out of synch in the mpg, the (new) avi is out of synch
as well. (by about two seconds)
Just for a laugh, I took the original avi and used the extended
open to "redrive" the keyframes. It finished normally, but the
new file only has 1 keyframe.
I'm pretty sure I could feed the original AVI into tmpgenc
and do PAL>NTSC, but the result will be a little jerky.
Any thoughts appreciated.
Dave
