    No audio

Somebody recently gave me a copy of Die another day.

I can view it but I have no sound for the producer used a SABS codec ????

Does anyone know where to download this, or is it just another AC3 codec.

what did tmpgenc say when it couldn't load the audio file? It should be able to load the audio file. That is interesting...

The second arrow is where you load your wav.

          No sound problem

          Tadysak,

If Virtualdub shows a tag of 2000, then yes, it is an ac3 stream. When I have this problem, I use Virtualdub to save the audio file as a wav (it's not really a wav file at this point). After saving, rename the extension to ac3. Next, I use ac3decode (the gui one) to turn it into a wav, then I use VirtualDub to reattach the wav to the video, compressing audio as it goes. Hope this helps.

I think I figured it out, My problem was two fold.

            1. I needed the Ac3 codec. Got that from Tsunami

            2. needed then to dub the wav file like you suggested I just finished converting a movie and am going to now check it. Tmpge now will open it and it did convert.

I'll let you know how it turns out in a few.

THANKS FOR YOUR HELP VERY NICE OF YOU
