I just started using XVid recently because I'm working on redoing the video game Dragon's Lair. I have to say that XVid makes animation look alot better than Divx does. Now video blocks, bright and vibrant colors, beautiful.
My DL game I have is an actual arcade perfect version of the game but it has very crappy looking video. It's like MPEG1. So I am taking the DVD that I have of the game, ripping it, converting every single little scene into XVid and replacing the crappy video with the good video. It's coming out perfect. Who else thinks this is the best game ever?
