XVid to DVD help!

I'm trying to put some Xvid, DivX, Etc AVI films to DVD-R's. I've used TMPGEnc to encode the AVI into .M2V and Wav files but NERO requires .VOB. Is there a program to convert these files to .VOB? Do I need to convert these files at all, or is there an easier way of going about all this? I've got Nerovision with the DVD plugin which looks like it will put the AVI's straight to DVD. Will this do a decent job? Because it looks like it makes a smaller conversion, i.e 3.4GB instead of 4.3GB I produced with TMPGEnc.

Setarip...thanks for the reply...Tried it...seemed slightly more blocky and blurred than the original AVI, but not managed to get a TMPGEnc version onto DVD yet to compare it with.... how's your results using nerovision??

Unless your .AVI was at 720x480 resolution (which I seriously doubt - it was probably lower), the resultant DVD image at an increased resolution will always result in a "blockier" image...

Any idea what the proceedure is for getting the .M2V & .WAV files made by TMPGEnc onto DVD. ALso i've noticed a slight frame freezing every second or so on the TMPGEnc encoded .M2V file???
What's that all about???

Use an authoring program, such as DVDWise, to create .VOBs and other required DVD filesand folders...
