audio out of sync

i had to mask nearly 2000 frames after the last masked frame the audio studders and is suddenly out of sync it is way too late by about 10 seconds. i hate when this happens! if it helps i have audio scew correction set at 610ms and i'm encoding with mp3.

what kind of mp3 are you using? I assume that you are ripping a dvd(or something else that doesn't matter) to divx.

If you are using VBR mp3 then audio scew is pretty common. I would suggest OGG or CBR mp3.

i'm using cbr mp3. i don't think that matters something is wrong with the video it just stops for a few seconds and the audio just keeps going.
