    MPEG to AVi

I try to convert a MPEG to AVI using VirtualDub-1.5.4 but after a minute during the conversion this error pops up "MPEG audio decode error: not enough data to decode frame".How to I fix this?

VirtualDUB is not very good to open MPEG-videos and specialy not for corrupted videos. Open the MPEG in TMPEGEnc and save as project (*.tpr). Use the VFAPI-codec and the VFAPI-converter to convert the tpr-avi into a pseudo-avi that can be opened with VirtualDUB. TMPEGEnc and VFAPI will allow to read the video even if there are some bad frames.

If you ever used DVD2AVI with VFAPI - it's the same procedure.
