I have downloaded a .divx File ... wich open open only in divx player ... and im looking forward to convert it into a .mpg or a regular divx ... .avi ... Ive tried easyx .. but it just dont work ...

in fact ... it come to a .tix and needs to connect to a server to confirm before viewing ... big deal -
1.to convert a divx file to mpg.
you can use Tmpeg to accomplish that
2. to convert it to another mpeg4 style codec (which divx is)
get the other codec you want to use . (like xvid or MS mpeg4
or whatever.)
get yourself virtualdub or virtualdub mod
refer to the online guides on this site on how to convert an avi
with virtual dub.Comment

im unable to open the .divx file only ... i have to open the Link on my internet explorer .. witch open my playa ... and with my nickname and password ... it unable playback ...Comment

It looks like you do not have the DivX codec installed in your system. The Playa has built-in DivX codec, which allows you to play these files without having to have the codec installed in your system. It is a different story when you try to open DivX files in other programs (and when you do not have the codec installed).Comment

Sounds like you're dealing with a licence-required or otherwise protected streamng video. If this is the case, the author is only allowing you to VIEW the video and not manipulate it in any way...Comment
