Joining VBR Aud & Xvid Vid

    First Post!!!!

    Anyway...............

I've encoded Xvid video using 2pass1 and the mp3 audio using VBR.

I've been trying to join them for the final output, but Virtual Dub doesn't like mp3 audio, so i tried Nandub. It works but the output video plays at twice the real frame rate (source=25fps, output=50).When i check the properties of the outputted (joined) video file it still says the frame rate is 25fps. But in media player the video plays twice as fast (the time says 2mins but it's speeded up as well).

But the audio plays normal at normal pace.

Any one else had this problem and solved it?

Try joining only the video first by using Direct Stream Copy for both files, saving it then joining it again using VDub. Use the Sav Wav function for both files then join the audio (encode if necessary). Finally, mux the combined audio with the combined video.
