    2 XviD settings...

I have a question about the xvid config.

First of all, what is the best settings for "Motion Search Precision"??
Second, the best settings for "Quantization Type"??

I already looked that stuff up on the i-net, but the problem is that many sites do not agree :-s (e.g doom9 and divx-digest) so I don't know exactly what to do...

    Thx for the help

    "Motion Search Precision"

Use the best setting, which is 6.

    "Quantization Type"

MPEG produces sharper image when compared to H.263, but consequently is more prone to compression artifacts (less compressible image). It is best to use H.263 when you are working with average to low amount of bitrate. It is even better if you can do two separate conversions using the two matrices, compare which produces the best-looking FINAL picture and discard the other one.
