my conversion gave me no sound

    If (you haven't said) you've converted to VCD, VCD is based on running time and NOT filesize. You should be able to fit approximately 80 minutes on a 700Mb/80 minute CD-R...

      well what i did was that when i was converting from xvid to vcd i didn't cut the movie, so what i did was have 2 big vcd's, and once the conversion was completed, using tmpgenc i joined those vcd's together wich gave me a 1.66 gig movie, and then i figured out how to use the cutting tool in tmpgenc and i cut my movie into 3 parts. So thanks setarip for having to deal with all the problams i had with this xvid movie, and the final result is that i now have a xvid movie converted into a vcd and wich is now on cd.
