I'm entirely new to this forum, seems like the knowledge here is just what I'm in need for...
My problem is this:
I have an avi file (Friends Season 7, episode 1), to which I want to add subtitles.
The relevant technical data about the avi are the following (taken from G-spot):
Runtime: 22min 32 sec (33799 frames)
FPS: 25.00
How to I get the sub to sync with the video stream? I have used Subtitle Workshop to get it working, but it's only the beginnning and the end that is synched, the rest of the movies sub is out of sync.
No subtitles are missing and the episode should be in the correct length. I've used several different sync points in the video stream to get it right but no...
In the beginning of the film, the subs appear too late (first the talk, then the text). The lag is at worst in the middle of the film, then it starts going back and when I reach the end, they're totally synched again. WHY?
